Don Garcia of Navarre or the jealous Prince is a heroic comedy in five acts and in verse Molière , created Theatre Royal Palace on 4  February  1661 by the troops of Sir , only brother of the King .Trapped in the castle of the beautiful Elvire he saved from the clutches of the tyrant Mauregat and should keep them safe, Dom Garcia can not prove his heroism in battle. It is precisely during such absence on the ground that his rival in love, Dom Sylve of Castile, galvanizes the troops against the tyrant and seduces the beautiful who does not know which of her two suitors choose. Dom Garcia locks herself in her jealousy increasingly sickly where every word of his promise of marriage is protected in favor of its competitor.
