Adesign problem has to be fonnulated considering the variousconstraints, processes,availability of materials, quality aspects.cost aspects etc. Constraints can be from technical, cost oravailability aspects. Technical constraints can be from calculationmethods, available process systems, skilled labour, manufacturingfacilities, machinery,or tools etc. Sometimes transport facilities tosite also pose problems. If suitable quality . materials are notavailable indigenously they may have to be imported, which effectscost and delivery time.
